Meet Katie + Nicola

Katie…

Katie is our admin guru and all-round office superstar and is your first point of contact at Synergy Graphics.

With our aim to take the overwhelm out of the process for our clients, you will be in great hands when you chat to, or meet with Katie.

Katie's bubbly personality, enthusiasm and high level organisational skills are a great fit for Synergy Graphics and we know you will love working with her!

Of late, and with Katie’s design and website knowledge ever increasing, her role has diversified into project management, so in some cases, Katie will be with you through your entire experience with Synergy Graphics.

Katie comes to Synergy Graphics from the Midlands in the UK, having studied International Business at the University of Plymouth before gaining a Business Degree from La Rochelle University in France.

She moved to Albany with her husband (from Cranbrook farming stock) and young children on 2021, after getting a little New Zealand skydiving out of her system!

Nicola…

As the principal designer of Synergy Graphics, I’ve had a passion for graphic design since my teens. I loved creating things and could visualise designs in my mind and transfer them to paper with ease.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a number of print and digital design studios where I fine tuned my skills, balancing my creativity with clients’ budgets, with the aim of exceeding expectations.

I began freelancing in 2003 and always juggled the work I love with the security of permanent employment.

Participating in the Clipper round-the-world yacht race in 2015/16 inspired me to put all my energy into what I love doing and what I’m best at. So, with the support of current clients and plenty of optimism, Synergy Graphics went full-time.

Starting off in a home office, four years later Synergy Graphics was a growing team, and moved into a gorgeous design studio on Albany’s foreshore.

Because of this growth, we are proud to announce we are state finalists of the Telstra Best of Business Awards in the outstanding growth category, as well as finalists of the ACCI Business Awards.

We have also just been recognised for our design of the Great Southern Women logo in the DesignRush ‘Best Logo Designs by Australian Agencies’.
